Oral supplements have to survive your digestive system before they reach your bloodstream. By the time a vitamin makes it through your gut, a significant portion of what you swallowed is already gone.
Injections skip that entire process. The nutrient goes directly into the bloodstream at full concentration where your body can actually use it.
At South Beach Wellness Center, we offer a targeted menu of vitamin therapy injections for patients in Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Lutz, and New Tampa. Each injection is administered by Maribel Dixon, MSN, APRN FNP-C in a clinical setting, not a spa, not a pop-up, not a staffed kiosk. Vitamin therapy is part of a whole-patient approach here, not an upsell.
We run injection promotions regularly throughout the year. Follow us on social or check back here for current offers.

Vitamin B12 is one of the most common deficiencies in adults and one of the most underdiagnosed. It is responsible for red blood cell production, nerve function, DNA synthesis, energy metabolism, and cognitive clarity. When levels drop, patients experience fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, numbness or tingling, and a general sense of running on empty that no amount of sleep fixes.
The problem for many patients is not just low intake. It is absorption. Age, gut health, certain medications including metformin and acid reducers, and dietary patterns all affect how much B12 your body actually pulls from food and oral supplements. An injection delivers the full dose directly into circulation with nothing lost in transit.
B12 injections at South Beach Wellness Center are a fast, effective option for patients managing fatigue, those supporting a weight loss protocol, patients on hormone therapy, and anyone whose labs show suboptimal B12 levels.
The Lipo-B injection, also called the Skinny Shot, combines Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Vitamin B12 into a single lipotropic injection designed to support fat metabolism and weight loss.
Together these compounds create a synergistic lipotropic effect that supports fat burning, energy production, and metabolic function. Lipo-B injections work best as a complement to a structured weight loss program, not as a standalone solution. Patients in our GLP-1 weight loss program often add Lipo-B injections to support their protocol.
Methionine is an essential amino acid that supports liver health, assists in the breakdown and removal of fat, and contributes to the synthesis of glutathione, one of the body's primary antioxidants. It also supports muscle tissue repair and cellular function.
Inositol plays a role in insulin signaling and fat metabolism. It supports healthy cell membrane function and has been shown to help regulate mood and reduce anxiety, which matters for patients whose eating patterns are tied to stress.
Choline is essential for liver function and fat transport. Without adequate choline, fat accumulates in the liver rather than being metabolized. It also supports brain health and neural communication, which is why choline deficiency often presents with cognitive symptoms alongside fatigue.
Vitamin B12 completes the formula by supporting energy metabolism, red blood cell production, and nerve function.
The Tri-Immune Boost combines three of the most clinically supported immune compounds into a single injection: Zinc, Vitamin C, and Glutathione.
Zinc supports the development and function of immune cells at every level of the immune response. Low zinc levels are consistently associated with increased susceptibility to infection and slower wound healing.
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that supports both the innate and adaptive immune systems. It enhances the function of immune cells, supports the skin barrier as a first line of defense, and reduces the duration and severity of illness in patients with low baseline levels.
Glutathione is the body’s master antioxidant, produced naturally in cells but depleted by stress, illness, aging, and environmental toxins. It protects immune cells from oxidative damage and supports optimal lymphocyte function, the white blood cells central to fighting infection.
The Tri-Immune injection is popular with patients heading into flu season, those who travel frequently, patients recovering from illness, and anyone who feels their immune system is running below capacity.

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of the body. It is central to energy production, DNA repair, and the regulation of cellular aging processes. NAD+ levels decline naturally with age, and that decline is directly linked to decreased cellular energy, cognitive sluggishness, slower recovery, and accelerated aging at the cellular level.
NAD+ has attracted serious research attention in recent years for its role in longevity, metabolic function, neurological health, and addiction recovery. It is one of the few compounds with direct influence on the sirtuins, proteins that regulate cellular health and lifespan.
Injected NAD+ bypasses the digestive process and delivers the coenzyme directly to circulation for maximum bioavailability. Patients use NAD+ injections for:
NAD+ works well alongside hormone therapy and weight loss protocols and is a natural complement to the DPC+Wellness membership for patients focused on optimized health rather than just sick care.
Vitamin D deficiency is common in Florida, which surprises most people. Sun exposure does produce Vitamin D but the amount generated depends on time of day, skin tone, sunscreen use, and time actually spent outdoors. Many patients, even in the Tampa Bay area, are measurably deficient.
Vitamin D functions more like a hormone than a vitamin. It regulates calcium and phosphorus absorption for bone health, modulates immune function, supports mood and mental health, and plays a role in muscle function and cardiovascular health. Deficiency is associated with fatigue, bone pain, muscle weakness, depression, and immune vulnerability.
Vitamin D injections deliver a therapeutic dose directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the absorption limitations of oral supplementation. For patients with confirmed deficiency on labs or persistent symptoms consistent with low Vitamin D, injections provide faster and more reliable restoration of optimal levels than oral supplementation alone.
Maribel reviews Vitamin D levels as part of the annual labwork included in DPC memberships. If your levels are low, injectable supplementation can be addressed as part of your ongoing care plan.
Patients across Wesley Chapel, Lutz, and New Tampa come to us for vitamin injections for a wide range of reasons:
Fatigue and low energy that persists despite adequate sleep and is not explained by other conditions. B12 and NAD+ are the most common entry points for these patients.
Weight loss support. Lipo-B MICC injections complement GLP-1 protocols by supporting fat metabolism and liver function during active weight loss.
Immune system support. Tri-Immune injections are used preventively during cold and flu season and therapeutically during recovery from illness.
Hormone therapy patients. Patients on BHRT often add B12 and NAD+ to support energy, mood, and the overall hormonal optimization process.
Bone health and deficiency. Vitamin D injections for patients with confirmed low levels or ongoing absorption challenges.
Cognitive clarity and brain health. B12 and NAD+ both have direct neurological applications for patients experiencing brain fog, memory concerns, or mood instability.
Athletes and active patients. B12, NAD+, and Tri-Immune support recovery, performance, and resilience under physical stress.
Why would I need vitamin injections instead of oral supplements?
Oral vitamins have to survive the digestive system before reaching the bloodstream. Absorption is affected by gut health, age, medications, and individual digestive function. Injections deliver the full dose directly into circulation, bypassing those variables entirely. For patients with confirmed deficiencies, absorption issues, or conditions that interfere with oral absorption, injections are consistently more effective.
How do I know if I have a B12 or Vitamin D deficiency?
The only way to confirm a deficiency is through bloodwork. Common symptoms of B12 deficiency include fatigue, brain fog, weakness, mood changes, and tingling or numbness in the extremities. Vitamin D deficiency often presents as bone pain, muscle weakness, persistent fatigue, and low mood.
Are vitamin injections safe?
Yes. When administered by a qualified provider in a clinical setting, vitamin injections are safe and well-tolerated. Maribel reviews your health history and current medications before recommending any injection protocol to confirm there are no contraindications.
Can I get enough B12 and Vitamin D through diet alone?
For some patients, yes. For others, no. Factors that reduce dietary absorption include age, gut conditions, vegan or vegetarian diets (B12 is found almost exclusively in animal products), certain medications, and individual metabolic variation. If you are symptomatic or your labs show suboptimal levels despite adequate dietary intake, injections are worth considering.
How often do I need vitamin injections?
It depends on what you are treating and what your labs show. For deficiency correction, more frequent initial dosing is typical with a taper as levels normalize. For maintenance and performance purposes, weekly or biweekly sessions are common. Maribel establishes a protocol based on your individual picture and adjusts it based on follow-up labs and symptom response.
Do I need to be a patient or member to receive vitamin injections?
No. Vitamin therapy is available to anyone. You do not need a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership to receive vitamin injections. All vitamin injection appointments must be scheduled in advance using our online booking system. Walk-ins are not available.
South Beach Wellness Center is located at 2975 Allegra Way in Lutz, just north of Tampa Premium Outlets. Walk-ins welcome on Thursdays for the $10 B12 special. All other injections available by appointment.
