Our office is located at 2975 Allegra Way in Lutz, FL 33559, just north of Tampa Premium Outlets off SR-56. We sit directly between Wesley Chapel and Land O’ Lakes, which puts us within a practical drive for patients from New Tampa, Zephyrhills, Odessa, Trinity, Dade City, and the broader Pasco and Hillsborough county area.
We also offer virtual consultations for patients throughout Florida who prefer to start remotely or who manage ongoing care via telehealth.
We see patients who speak English. We see patients who speak Spanish. Se Habla Español is not a line on our website. It is part of who we are and why we built this practice the way we did. Maribel was born in Cuba and came to the United States at age 9. She understands firsthand what it means to navigate a healthcare system in your second language, and she built a practice where that barrier does not exist.

Maribel manages a smaller patient panel than a conventional primary care practice. That is not incidental. It is a deliberate constraint that makes everything else possible. When your provider is not managing 2,000 patients, she has time to know you.
Your appointments run as long as they need to. Your labs get reviewed in the context of your symptoms, not just against a reference range. When your hormone therapy, your weight loss program, and your primary care are all with the same provider, she sees the connections between all of it in a way that siloed specialists cannot.
We hold certifications that most practices in this corridor do not carry. Maribel is an Advanced BHRT Certified provider through WorldLink Medical, one of the most rigorous evidence-based hormone medicine training programs available to nurse practitioners. She is a certified EvexiPEL provider. She holds board certification in Family Medicine from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She also volunteers at the local high school. She and her husband have two teenage sons who are active in the community. This practice is not a satellite location managed from a corporate office somewhere else. It is a local business run by someone who lives here, knows this community, and is accountable to it.
Maribel Dixon has been serving patients in the Tampa Bay area since 2012. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from South University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society. She spent five years in internal medicine before opening South Beach Wellness Center, building deep expertise in chronic disease management before expanding into hormone optimization and advanced wellness care.
She is one of a small number of providers in the Wesley Chapel and Land O’ Lakes corridor who holds both WorldLink Medical Advanced BHRT certification and EvexiPEL provider certification.
Spanish-speaking patients in the Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, and Lutz area have historically had to navigate their most personal health conversations through a language that is not their own, or through a translator who is not their provider.
At South Beach Wellness Center, Maribel conducts appointments in both English and Spanish. Hormone therapy, weight loss, chronic disease management, and primary care conversations happen in the language her patients are most comfortable in. For the Spanish-speaking community in Pasco and Hillsborough counties, this is not a convenience. It is a meaningful part of feeling heard and understood in a clinical environment.

Our Direct Primary Care memberships operate outside of insurance. You pay a flat monthly fee and we handle your primary care directly. We do not bill insurance for primary care visits. Most members carry a high-deductible insurance plan or health-sharing account alongside their DPC membership for hospitalizations, specialist care, and emergencies. We can discuss what that combination looks like for your situation at your free consultation.
Yes. Virtual consultations are available for Florida residents for most services. Telehealth visits are included at no additional cost in all adult DPC memberships.
